Carl Jung was a pioneer of the unconscious -- that mysterious but marvelous universe of unseen energies, potentials and guiding forces that exist within each of us. In our lifetime we must serve as a container in which the evolution of consciousness is carried forward. It is a larger realm than we often realize, one that seemingly runs parallel to ordinary daily life. Experience a very special journey of the mind and soul through music, commentary and dramatic readings from Memories, Dreams, Reflections -- the memoir of Carl G. Jung. This program is presented in collaboration with core artists of Music Doing Good including Rodney Waters, Kenneth Gayle, Ray Younkin, Anita Kruse, and Aaron Kaufman.
This special event will benefit the Carolyn Grant Fay Building Fund. The Jung Center of Houston, founded in 1958 and located in the Museum District, provides continuing education for the human spirit, taking Jung’s rich and meaningful heritage into the twenty-first century.
Please note there are two performances (Friday April 27th and Saturday April 28th).
