Marie Bosarge has been singing professionally since 1992. Marie obtained her B.A. in Education and Interior Design from Southeastern Louisiana University. After graduation she spent a number of years teaching and writing poetry. She first began exercising her vocal talents with Sage Productions in Austin, Texas and New York with a focus on jazz and rock & roll. Soon after, she began study with a classical voice instructor. Marie has worked with the Foundation for Modern Music and produced some of her original poems and songs. She participated in the Variety Club Players at Rockefellers and performed in Louie's Girls. She studied at the Star Singers Studio, performing regularly at Ovations and other venues. Marie co-created, co-produced, and co-starred as Marilyn in the "Piaf and Monroe Affair" in Los Angeles. Marie co-wrote the show with Chilean performance artist, Katia Requelme.
Marie serves on the board of directors for Divas World Productions, Inc., and produces her creation, Just Jazz, in collaboration with Divas. Through this series, she collaborates with Horace Grigsby, Dan Karp, Bob Henschen, and Wayne Goins. She currently studies classical vocal technique with Sonja Bruzauskas.
Marie's design skills are showcased in the collaboration with Rodica Mirea, Mihai Angelescu, and others to create the Villa Maria's own 17th century Tuscan Renaissance home theater. The theater was created to encourage a series of European inspired salons to both educate and entertain.
